IPAFFS

The IPAFFS (Import of Products, Animals, Food, and Feed System) is a system used by importers and import agents to notify authorities prior to the importing of goods from EU and non-EU countries.

It involves importing the following goods:

  • live animals
  • germinal products
  • high-risk food and feed not of animal origin (HRFNAO)
  • Medium and high risk plants and plant products
  • animal by-products (ABP)
  • composite food products
  • products of animal origin (POAO)
