The Multi-Annual Strategic Plan for Electronic Customs (MASP-C) is an intiative of EU that is intended to introduce electronic customs procedures instead of paper-based.
The plan was established and launched in 2009. It provides information on the key issues regarding the evolution of the electronic system for customs procedures.
The MASP-C is built on four pillars:
Single Window: One portal for all customs submissions.
Risk Management: Focus on high-risk goods, easing low-risk flows.
Interoperability: Seamless system communication.
Compliance: Ensuring regulation adherence.
